These perfectly splendid TM2020 Face Masks I make are designed using the pattern from "The Best Fit Face Mask" pattern by Brittany AKA Pretty Handy Girl; which has a sewn in nose bridge piece (to prevent sliding) and the best fit (measuring instructions below) to allow for a comfortable all day wear, sewn with quality batik fabric and care to give you a face mask that is durable and re-usable (see care instructions below). I constructed the interior of my face mask using the key elements from Nurse Tommye Austins' "TM2020" Pattern to give you the most filtered, safest (for wearer's and non-wearer's) and effective face mask. Choose from any of my TM2020 Face Mask Styles, either with or without an eye shield: (Eye shields are further explained below)
OPTION ONE: "Filter Sewn In" = This face mask design is constructed from the TM2020 Face Mask Pattern taking ONLY the key elements away from the pattern, the CO2 pocket and the MERV13 Air Filter (the highest level of filter efficiency offered from our supplier. These AC filters capture particles as small as virus carriers, smoke, and bacteria. Utilized in areas where superior air quality is essential for various commercial applications and in residences where the purest air is required) and sew them into the masks between the inner and outer layers. With each mask you purchase you also have the choice of either: white ear loops, white tie straps, black ear loops, or black tie straps (buyer will note this detail in the "personalization" section, under PATTERN).
OPTION TWO: "Filter Pocket" = This face mask design is constructed from the TM2020 Face Mask Pattern taking ONLY the key elements away from the pattern, the CO2 pocket and the MERV 13 Air Filter. The CO2 pocket is sewn into the mask whereas I create an additional pocket between the CO2 pocket inner liner and the outer layer of the face mask to insert our MERV13 Air Filter (the highest level of filter efficiency offered from our supplier. These AC filters capture particles as small as virus carriers, smoke, and bacteria. Utilized in areas where superior air quality is essential for various commercial applications and in residences where the purest air is required) designed to fit perfectly, allowing you to replace your filter on an as needed basis. With each mask you purchase you also have the choice of either: white ear loops, white tie straps, black ear loops, or black tie straps (buyer will note this detail in the "personalization" section, under PATTERN)
Both face masks are designed using tightly Woven Cotton (aka “Quilting Fabric”). My masks are designed with a foundation of two layers of high-quality, heavyweight “quilter’s cotton” with a thread count of 180 or more. Only a few selected cotton fabrics I offer are only between 120-160 thread count. The face masks I make are designed to protect the wearer's nose and mouth from contact with air droplets, splashes and sprays that may contain germs, however, the TM 2020 style I make has the two key features from Tommye's design: a built in air pocket for carbon dioxide and heat (that the wearer breathes out) to escape and MERV 13 air filtration layer sewn in between the inner and outer layers of mask to filter smaller particles such as bacteria, viruses and smoke. The TM 2020 mask with filter sewn in is re-usable for 3 months ; and up to 6 months if air dried after each use.

Male/Large = "(M)" - Male mask size would cover approximately a string/tape measurement of about 7 inches. (May range from 6.75 to 7.25 inches as each mask is hand made)
Female/Medium = "(F)" - Female mask size would cover approximately a string/tape measurement of about 6 inches. (May range from 5.75 to 6.25 inches as each mask is hand made)
Tween/Small = "(S)" - Small mask size would cover approximately a string/tape measurement of about 5.5 inches. (May range from 5.25 to 5.75 inches as each mask is hand made)
Kids = "(K)" - Kids mask size would cover approximately a string/tape measurement of about 4.75 inches. (May range from 4.5 to 5 inches as each mask is hand made)
**** MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS ****
- Take a string and start at the top of your nose bridge close to your eyes, hold the string in place and run the string down the front of your nose, to your chin, then down to the under side of your chin back towards your neck, stopping about an inch to an inch and a half from the front of your chin back towards your neck.

- For TM2020 Face Mask Sewn In: The MERV13 Air Filter is NOT removable. Air Dry after each use. Dispose after 3-6 months depending on usage. Using damp cloth spot clean using antibacterial or dish soap hand washing mask. Do not submerge in water. **Sewn in filter is more effective at filtering air particles**
- For TM2020 Face Mask with Insert Pocket: Air Dry after each use. Dispose of MERV13 Air Filter after 3-6 months depending on wearer's usage. To wash, remove filter, machine wash gentle cycle, air dry only.
