Create the perfect gift for any card player with this one of a kind Wild Card pen. The pen cap and band features icons of the 4 card suits; heart, club, spade and diamond with engraved details reminiscent of backs of playing cards. The stylized pen clip is topped with the ace of spades, traditionally seen as the highest card in the deck of playing cards.
Each pen is hand made to order in Dublin, Ohio. Wood options are Cherry, Western Red Cedar, Curly Maple, Mahogany or Hickory, all which are sourced from a sawmill in the heart of Ohio's Amish Country. In addition, we offer a 200 year Barnwood from recycled beams that came from a building we took down on our farm. Exotic wood options, which are sourced from Central and South America, are Purple Heart, Bloodwood, Redheart, Zebrawood, Dark Cocobolo and Light Cocobolo.
The colors of the wood shown are all their natural color (except for the color dyed maples) and coated with a polyurethane finish to both protect and enhance the natural beauty of the wood! This finish will also keep its shine for years to come! Most polishes used by wood turners are a simple polished wax, which will wear away in a short period of time, leaving the wood dull with no protective finish.
The window boxes are made from cardboard, with a rubber loop under the ribbon to keep the pen in place, making the pen easier to wrap while offering a great display of the item.
