Create these pens as a great gift for any Pirate's of the Caribbean fan! Feature a riveted band around the pen tip, center band and pen end. While the center band also features a laser etched skull and crossbones. The pirate theme is completed with a pirate sword pen clip.
Each pen is hand made to order in Dublin, Ohio. Wood options are Cherry, Western Red Cedar, Curly Maple, Mahogany or Hickory, all which are sourced from a sawmill in the heart of Ohio's Amish Country. In addition, we offer a 200 year Barnwood from recycled beams that came from a building we took down on our farm. Exotic wood options, which are sourced from Central and South America, are Purple Heart, Bloodwood, Redheart, Zebrawood, Dark Cocobolo and Light Cocobolo.
The colors of the wood shown are all their natural color, with the exception of the dyed maples, coated with a polyurethane finish to both protect and enhance the natural beauty of the wood! This finish will also keep its shine for years to come! Most polishes used by wood turners are a simple polished wax, which will wear away in a short period of time, leaving the wood dull with no protective finish.
The window boxes are made from cardboard, with a rubber loop under the ribbon to keep the pen in place, making the pen easier to wrap while offering a great display of the item.
