Handmade Christmas Ornament - Birdhouse

This is a hand crafted birdhouse, that can be used as a Christmas tree ornament or as a decoration for anyone who loves birds! Each section (roof, house, base, perch and finial) is hand turned on a lathe with a replica ceramic Goldfinch bird, placed as though its sitting outside its home!

All woods are their natural color, with each section is finished with several coats of polyurethane to protect and bring out the natural beauty of the wood. Once protective finishes are applied, they ornament is assembled. As you can see from the last picture with the soda can, the size is perfect for display or a Christmas tree.

The roof/top is made from Black Walnut
The house/middle is made from Black Cherry
The base of the house is made from Black Walnut
The finial is made from Hard Maple
The perch is made from Black Walnut

Stand does not come with ornament.
