This gift will appeal to any Archer; whether they love target archery, bowhunting or are into more traditional bows. Our distinctively detailed Archery pen tries to capture this enthusiasm and interest. The pen end is embellished with leather-like stitching and is inspired by an arrow quiver that holds extra arrows, which sticks out of the backend. The pen clip represents the shape and curvature of a classic recurve bow. The center band features arrowheads displayed around the pen body. And the pen tip is inspired by the tip of an arrow.
Each pen is hand made to order in Dublin, Ohio. Wood options are Cherry, Western Red Cedar, Curly Maple, Mahogany or Hickory, all which are sourced from a sawmill in the heart of Ohio's Amish Country. In addition, we offer a 200 year Barnwood from recycled beams that came from a building we took down on our farm. Exotic wood options, which are sourced from Central and South America, are Purple Heart, Bloodwood, Redheart, Zebrawood, Dark Cocobolo and Light Cocobolo.
The colors of the wood shown are all their natural color (except for the color dyed maples) and coated with a polyurethane finish to both protect and enhance the natural beauty of the wood! This finish will also keep its shine for years to come! Most polishes used by wood turners are a simple polished wax, which will wear away in a short period of time, leaving the wood dull with no protective finish.
The window boxes are made from cardboard, with a rubber loop under the ribbon to keep the pen in place, making the pen easier to wrap while offering a great display of the item.
